Integration Lead

Role Overview

The Integration Lead is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise integrations across complex HR, Finance, and CRM platforms. This role works closely with client stakeholders, functional teams, and technical delivery teams to ensure integrations are delivered with high quality, performance, and reliability in client-facing environments. The Integration Lead provides both technical leadership and people management across integration workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Delivery & Technical Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of enterprise integrations across HR, Finance, and business systems
  • Oversee integration design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Apply best practices across the software deployment lifecycle, including integration testing, defect management, and validation
  • Ensure integration solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements
  • Provide technical leadership across API-driven and middleware-based integration architectures

Integration Architecture & Design

  • Design and govern integration patterns including real-time, near real-time, and batch integrations
  • Lead data transformation, mapping, and data transmission strategies for optimal performance and reliability
  • Review and validate use of APIs, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, and XSLT
  • Drive optimization of integration solutions to maximize efficiency, speed, and system performance

Program & Team Leadership

  • Act as a workstream lead or overall technical lead for integration delivery on implementation programs
  • Lead, mentor, and support integration consultants and technical team members
  • Collaborate with functional leads, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure integrated solution alignment
  • Take a leadership role within complex software or application implementations in external client-facing environments

Client Engagement & Consulting

  • Partner closely with client architects, IT leaders, and business stakeholders
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable integration solutions
  • Provide clear communication and guidance to clients on integration scope, risks, and delivery progress
  • Demonstrate strong consulting mindset with focus on customer value and service excellence

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of consulting experience, either as an internal consultant or with a consulting or software organization
  • Proven experience leading integration implementation teams and/or acting as a people manager
  • Hands-on implementation experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar Finance, HCM, or CRM applications
  • Proven knowledge of the software deployment lifecycle, including testing methodologies and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • Experience delivering integrations using Workday HCM, Financial Management, or Student Information Systems
  • Strong understanding of integration frameworks and middleware platforms
  • In-depth experience with APIs, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, and XSLT
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and functional problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, consulting, interpersonal, and project management capabilities
  • Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-performance consulting environments
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, innovate, and introduce new technical solutions
  • Strong ownership mindset with passion for high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
