Role Overview:

We are looking for a QC Lead to take ownership of product quality across the software delivery lifecycle.

The role requires strong QA/QC leadership, solid understanding of software delivery, and the ability to work closely with Product, BA, Engineering, and other stakeholders.

Beyond testing execution, the QC Lead is expected to understand product requirements, business flows, user expectations, and delivery priorities, and be capable of supporting or covering Product Owner responsibilities when required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead overall QA/QC strategy, planning, and execution across products and projects.
• Define test strategy, test scope, test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality gates.
• Manage functional, integration, regression, API, system, and release testing.
• Own defect management, severity/priority assessment, root cause coordination, and release quality.
• Lead and mentor QC team members, allocate work, review testing quality, and monitor delivery progress.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, BA, Product Owner, PM, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Understand product requirements, business processes, and end-to-end user flows to ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Identify gaps, ambiguities, and risks in requirements before development and testing.
• Contribute to requirement clarification, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and prioritization.
• Support Product Owner activities when required, including requirement clarification, stakeholder coordination, backlog management, and acceptance of delivered functionality.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA/QC processes, automation, quality metrics, and delivery practices.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Software Quality Assurance, Quality Control, SDLC, and testing methodologies.
• Strong experience in test planning, test strategy, test case design, defect management, regression testing, and release validation.
• Good understanding of API, integration, database, web, and backend testing.
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD quality practices.
• Strong understanding of product requirements, business workflows, user journeys, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to translate business/product requirements into effective test coverage and quality controls.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and risk management skills.
• Strong leadership, ownership, team coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across QC, Product, BA, and Engineering teams.
• Capability and willingness to take on Product Owner responsibilities when required.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Software QA/QC, with experience leading or coordinating a QC/QA team.
• Hands-on experience delivering production software across multiple stages of the SDLC.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum product development environments.
• Good communication and requirement clarification skills.
• Good English communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Experience acting as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product-focused QC Lead.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and performance/security testing.
• Experience with Jira, CI/CD pipelines, API testing tools, and quality reporting platforms.
• Experience defining quality metrics, release readiness criteria, and production quality monitoring.
• Experience working on enterprise platforms, integration-heavy systems, or complex business applications.
