Program & Delivery Lead

The Program & Delivery Lead is accountable for end-to-end program delivery and governance across complex enterprise implementations. Acting as the primary interface between the client and partner delivery teams, this role ensures programs are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and agreed quality standards, while maintaining executive-level alignment and control.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for client executives and senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, and PMO
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with CHROs, CIOs, Finance Directors, and executive sponsors
  • Lead and govern SteerCo meetings, Design Authority forums, and executive governance sessions
  • Provide clear executive communication on program status, risks, financials, and decision points

Program & Delivery Management

  • Own end-to-end delivery lifecycle: Plan → Architect → Configure → Test → Deploy → Hypercare → AMS
  • Manage scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies across the program
  • Ensure compliance with company delivery methodology and partner best practices
  • Lead multi-module implementations including HCM, Financials, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Reporting, and Integrations
  • Own commercial and contractual elements: SOWs, change control, milestones, burn rate, margins, and revenue recognition
  • Drive effective scope change management and contract variation processes
  • Forecast resourcing demand and manage utilization across delivery, AMS, and support teams

AMS & Support Transition

  • Define, establish, and operationalize AMS/Service Management models (L1/L2/L3)
  • Lead transition from project delivery to steady-state operations
  • Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, incident/problem management, and continuous improvement frameworks

Team Leadership & Quality Assurance

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Functional Leads, Technical Leads, and Project Managers
  • Conduct delivery quality reviews to ensure configurations align with approved solution design and business outcomes
  • Proactively identify and escalate delivery risks, driving timely resolution across cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • 7–12+ years of experience delivering enterprise HR and/or Finance platforms, with strong Workday expertise
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, complex, or multi-country Workday implementations and/or AMS engagements
  • Deep understanding of Workday functional domains and integration landscape
  • Demonstrated success in client-facing delivery leadership, executive communication, and stakeholder management
